Connecting multiple 4017's

I'm trying to design an Electronic Roulette Wheel using a 555 timers and a 4017 decade counter all linked up to 37 LED's.

I'm really stuck at the moment, I have only managed to design a circuit that incorporates 10 LED's. And I need another 27.

The 10 LED's I have are connected to the 4017's pins (obviously) and since the chip does not have 37 pins I'm assuming I need at least 4 4017's connected to each other but I have no idea how to connect them all together.

Can anyone please help me? Any tips or even a schematic diagram of a similar circuit where 4 decade counters are connected together?

My Electronics knowledge isn't that great (yet) so I apologize if this is easy or you don't know what I mean.

Thanks guys, I hope that design works CocaCola I really don't want to spend time simulating it only to find out it doesn't work.

And Bob, I can't believe I didn't think to look at the data sheet haha :)

Thank you for your help, hopefully this solves my problem.

Connecting LED's to 4017

Hi there, I'm building/designing my own Electronic Roulette Wheel using a 555 timer with 4017 decade counters with 37 LED's.

I'm currently trying to cascade multiple 4017's using this schematic shown...

I'm not sure I understand this schematic too well, I can't figure out where the LED's would connect to? Do the connect to the pins on the chips? or the AND Gates?

If anyone can understand this schematic more than I and can maybe explain it a little that would be hugely appreciated.

I know I'm asking for a lot here but I'm really stuck and can't move forward with my project without understanding this schematic.

Thanks,

Stu.
