Celestial Rear projection ctv model HP5188i


NQ821 voltage reg has exploded (STRF6656)
VQ821 transistor is open circuit ( C2655)

VD821 shorted (unknown)
VD829 shorted (unknown)
VD827 shorted (unknown)

R822 measured 5 ohms (unsure if this value is correct)

Can anyone please give me info. on the above parts?
Or maybe even supply a copy of the power supply schematic.

I have been unable to obtain a scematic elsewhere.

From page 14 of the STR-F6600 datasheet:

"Diodes carrying the high-frequency flyback currents (such as the
transformer rectifier diodes) should have a fast or ultrafast
reverse-recovery characteristic, adequate current handing and peak
reverse-voltage rating."

In view of the extensive damage, you may want to check the optocoupler
and any overvoltage protection diode on the secondary side of the
switchmode transformer.

R822 measured 5 ohms (unsure if this value is correct)

MOSFET current sense resistor?
