I am looking to add a wifi connectivity to a handheld scanner.
The scanner accepts a microsSD and I ideally want to simply place a separate chip/minimalist pcb...perhaps (drill out a button to it as well) in order to have the files
dumped by the scanner on the sd card served to me wirelessly over the network.
The handheld scanner also accepts 3xAAA batteries in series and ideally I am looking into how to get a lithium ion battery instead that could also be powered by diverted current from the existing mini usb slot on the device.
Any clues?? Is there a cheap wifi package that could be mounted off the existing microsd slot and act for me like a file server??
What about modifying the batteries bit and how do I best go about it??
