Hi all,
I want to make a mechanical wood cutting device powered by a second hand 12v windsceen wiper motor, I
I would like to know if it is ok to do this with a 12v lead acid battery charger ? I am in Australia on 240 V power
The battery charger I have is made by yk and on the front says
YK -c1212 Automatic charger
12v lead acid battery
There is a charging indicator light and a power on of switch.
On the back
240 v 280 W
Q0161
n2007
There are Two fuses , above these it says
15A 32 V 4at 250V
I gave it a try and it ran the motor, but would just like to know is it safe ?
I would want to run it for an hour or two at a time, or is ther another way this should be done ?
regards Rob
