Here's the scenario: customer loking to add fog lights to a vehicle. Cannot jump off of headlight feed due to computer sensitivity (check engine light will go off)
Would like to create a seperate system that is dependant on existing one.
The feed would come directly from the battery, to the switch and then to the fog lights. The customer does not want the fog light to be able to turn on without the headlights. I am thinking about to have the feed to the headlight go through a clamp on device similar to a clamp on ampmeter, when it sees the current flowing it would close a relay allowing the fog lights to turn on.
I am having trouble with the actual components. Any suggestions?
