HI all,
I have been playing about with LED chips for some time now for custom lighting projects, My goal is to try and adapt some of the common 12V dimmers found for LED strips to out put a higher voltage so I can control 100watt RGB Chips that require voltages from 24 to 36V.

There seems to be nothing on the market for this and I find it a bit strange since what and where are people using these LED chips for then?

I notice 2 555 timer type chips and
3 p1703bdg Mosfets - http://www.cheertech.com.tw/Niko-sem/Data sheet\P1703BDG.pdf
Is it possible to swap the Mosfets with high tolerance ones or is this more complex a job.
Many thanks!
