12V, 200Ah Battery with Inverter

Hi,

I have 12V, 200Ah deep-cycle battery that is connected to an inverter with a load of 100-240VAC, 0.3A Adaptor to supply an output of 12VDC 1A device.

My question is how long will battery last? if it is in 90% efficiency
and what is my power consumption? and where do I get my power consumption is it on the AC side of the Adaptor or in the DC side or both?

Thanks! in advance.

You need to know the efficiency of the "adaptor", too.

Why go the long way first stepping up the 12V, then regulating again down to 12V for the final load? Couldn't you connect the load directly to the battery?

Regardless of the setup, total power consumption is given by Ptot=Vbat*Ibat. This includes all losses from the inverrters, adpators and load.

note that the efficiency of the inverter will probably be very low for such a light load

Or running an airconditioner from a generator because it's uncomfortably warm with the generator running :D
