This may be a silly question, and I have to say I have nearly built an inverter (lacking certain transistors) and I do not know the answer to this. I purchased an inverter I intend to use with a fish tank incase I lose power. The inverter says it is 110v AC, and the ad for it stated 120v AC. I would rather not try to return it, I waited weeks for it to ship as it is. Most of my components are 110/120v AC and will work either way, but my power filters do not state what the electical usage is.
So I am wondering how well would a 120v AC component work on a 110v AC system? Mind you the power filters (2) combined hardly reach 50watts. So they are low powered machines, I would guess they would work fine on the 110v AC, but I am refraning from opening the package until I am more sure...
