ZVS 1000W/2000W draws only 3V

Hello all,

I have 2 brand new (Chinese) ZVS boards and a 1000W power supply (48V).
(1000W Link/2000W Link/1000WPowerSupply Link)

No matter what i'm doing, the boards draw only around 3V
the 2000W board have 2 fans connected to it, and I can see that they are working for a tenth of a second every 1-2 seconds.
I tried with another power supply (12V 3A) and i got the same result.

What am i doing wrong? what/where is the issue?

Draw 3 V? What does that mean?
What are these ZVS boards? (link?), how are they hooked up to the power supply? Show us a schematic of your setup, please.

Hello,

To use full power, you will need a powersupply that has some headroom.
I would say that the powersupply must be able to provide at least 20 % more power than the boards require.

On the page of the 2000W board they recommend an 48 V 50 A powersupply.
That would be 20 % more than the 2000 W, so 2400 W.
