wifi speakers (arduino and esp12e)

pls help. any ideas on how to create wifi speakers, we're planning to create a wireless(wifi) PA System that uses wifi speakers and microphone app on smartphones -_-

I am unsure about this as I am going to say you need a wifi router if you want to connect to more than 1 device at a time... you could try NRF24l01 modules as you can make 128 speakers on a channel... but yeah its all in the coding
