Who knows what kind of connector

I need to connect to the original unit, and the need to identical connector.
Does anyone know what is the connector?
Who is the manufacturer.
4 pin spacing of 2.54 mm (100mils)
Plug on the ribbon cable spacing of 2.54 mm (100mils).

I'd use a magnifying glass and check the connector over closely to see if it has a company logo or identifying number stamped on it. If not, it'll be almost impossible to know who actually made it.
If all else fails, you might try to contact the board manufacturer (the company that made your device),
and see if you can get a replacement from them.
