Where to find Fenix flashlights in stores?

Hi!

I'm currently traveling around the Southwest US a little bit, and I'd
like to buy one of those Fenix LED Flashlights (probably the L1D).
Only problem is I don't know where to find one. Mailorder's no use,
since I'm moving LA->San Diego->Tucson->Grand Canyon->Las Vegas the
next two weeks.

The only place I know to carry things like this is Sharper Image, but
they don't seem to have those flashlights.

It would be great if anyone could give me a hint - TIA.

There may be a store. Good luck finding one. High end flashlights tend to be
a mail order affair. I bought mine new off ebay. If you know the address of
where you'll be, have it sent there ahead of you.

I have the L0D-CE and I have the L2D-CE on the way. The L0D can give me as
much light as my 1 watt luxeon flashlights with only one tiny Ni-Mh AAA
battery, though its tiny optics don't focus the light as tight. I could live
without the silly blinker modes.

The Cree XR-E LED impresses me. More flashlight makers need to get a clue.

You think this works? i heard that fenix-store.com gets pretty good
reviews, so you think I can order one from them and have them send it
to the Hotel i'm gonna be in Las Vegas in about 10 Days from now?

That might be an option ...

Try asking on www.candlepowerforums.com sure someone there will know
and another 50 will tell you should buy a Surefire instead ;-)

I would do that, but somehow I'm unable to register - never get an
confirmation e-mail, tried different mail accounts :-(

I've done this before, but only about two days before I got to the
hotel. I called the hotel to let them know and the box was waiting for
me when I checked in. You might call the hotel first and see if they
are willing to accept the package.

Also, in my case, the stuff was being shipped from my employer to me
while I was on a business trip. Buying something online with a credit
card may be different - sometimes the store wants to see that the "ship
to" address matches one that is on file with your credit card company.
You might check the online store's ordering policy or ask them directly
if they check - if so, you need to call your credit card company and get
the hotel address put on your account. (Usually you can have a couple
of different "ship to" addresses on file with the credit card company -
the store only cares that it matches one of them.)
