About PLCC sockets ...
Is there differences between surface mount and thru hole PLCC sockets
in regard of inserting and removing PLCC IC inside.
If I look at digikey catalogue p.336 it seems that Thru Hole have some
king of "spring" leads to keep the ic inside.
On the suface mount one it seem to be "rigid" leads !?
Does it mean it will bend my IC leads went I insert it inside ?
Will I be able to remove my IC and use it into a Thru Hole socket (for
programming) and reinsert it into my surface mount socket ?
