What's the best book on high speed PCB design?

Hi,

I'm looking for a good book on high speed PCB digital design (mostly
for high-speed parallel/serial buses). I'd like a book that has lots
of practical tips supported by the relevent math (like what The Art of
Electronics was for analog design).

I've search on Amazon.com and found several books, but the reviews
seem mixed. Is there any book that is considered a "Bible" of
real-world high-speed PCB design?

Thanks
Used to be Johnson & Graham, but they may be getting a bit out of date.

Cheers,

And their stuff was only about half true anyhow.

_High-Speed Digital Design: A Handbook of Black Magic_ by Johnson &
Graham may not be entirely up-to-date, but they cover the topic well
for most layout tasks. They don't cover gigabit speeds, but are good
start for most layout designers.

Howard W.Johnson and Martin Graham's "High-Speed Digital Design" ISBN
0-13-395724-1 is still available off the shelf from Amazon, so they
must be doing something right. The book has been in print continually
since it was first published back in 1993 - I bought mine in 1997.

It isn't perfect - Howard W.Johnson does seem to have a tendency to
over-simplify - but it is a fair way in front of whatever is in second
place.

The Motorola ECLinPS data book's application notes are a lot cheaper,
and seem to cover almost everything that one actually needs to know.
