What kind of Diode is this?

Can someone tell me what type of diode this is in the picture?? Anyone know the package type? Thanks.

Hi there.
I think you might be referring to the cracked components three in a row, there diodes but, they could be any type, fast recovery units often look like that, but so do a lot of other diodes, whats the circuit doing / powering ? . :)

Can you get any more information on the circuit, where on the bike is it, what connects to it, make / model of the bike etc, a schematic might exist.

I would like to say oh yer ok fast recovery rectifier diodes, but i cant, there are hundreds of diodes, all have different roles to play, to dodgy to guess, so try and get more info if possible, its use on the bike is a start, is it a regulator, or a CDI unit etc, more info. :)

If you look on the board. Next to the resistors there are markings on the board 'R32' etc indicating that is number 32 resistor. The zener diode has 'ZD' next to it. Does the blown diode have 'ZD' or 'D' markings that might give you a clue.
I would carefully unsolder one and see what markings are on the board.

If you are talking about the three leged components in the picture (ETD41-035) these are fast switching power Transistors "Darlington NPN"

I recognise the type.
A typical spec for a diode of similar appearance can be found:
Vishay BYV26A - "Ultra fast avalanche sintered glass diode" (Case SOD-57).
Average forward current 1 amp, reverse voltage max 600V.
In this case the diode was installed within a washing machine motor controller & the diam of the body bead was about 3 mm in diam.
Your diode will be different but I'm pretty sure this is the type.
Good luck.
