A quick survey indicates there are some technology differences.
C&D batteries, in particular, claims that an internal catalyst, possibly
palladium, reduces some modes of cell failure.
So they're not all the same, and they're all more prone to failure than
flooded batteries.
Any recommendations on a particular brand, based on either technology or
quality?
