Volume pot 2 problems really stiff shaft and it worn away

This a pot of a sony str-de-935 amp part # 225-771-11 950m it was stuck on high volume and just spinning so i take it apart and in side it has a stupped light so its not 1 peace so the nob Shaft rotates on the plastic light and had a notch that conects it that had worn away can i solder it or glue it ? and lube the inside shaft as there is quite the resetence to spin it

If I understand you correctly it sounds like the pot is beyond repair. Time to replace it.
