Very basic resistor replacement question

Hello! I have obtained a replacement resistor for a cracked one in one of my low powered electronic piano.

The new one has s higher dissipation rating and is just a bit bigger than the original.

I was told at the store that this would not matter so much other than maybe taking up a bit more space on the board.

I know there is a basic math formula for this but is there a quick way for someone if it will be fine here?

Many thanks

Yul - The power dissipation rating is the maximum power in watts that the resistor can handle.
It won't in any way affect the power dissipated by the circuit, which will be the same as before.
