Value SMD capacitor

Hello.

today I found this wonderful forum and hope can help me. work repairing automotive computers and today I found a SMD capacitor which I cannot decipher its value.

It appears that says: 1A4

I leave the PCB image

Can I replace with traditional capacitor or should always be SMD?

You could replace them with through-hole components, but I wouldn't advise it.

The easiest way of determining their value is to remove one and measure it.

indeed it is always easier to remove and measure capacitance, unfortunately I don't have a capacitance meter nearby.
