USB to Webcam connections

hello every one
can any one help me on the point that i have a usb web cam but unfatunately wire is broken.
i want to fix it. there are seven wires comming out from usb to camera. how to decide which wire is to be connected on which terminal. wire colours are blue, orange, black, white, green, red and gray.......

give us details on make and model might be useful too. most importantly is the pic of the circuit board and the wire that is broken
if you think the wire is broken inside the usb cable the EASIEST way to replace it without too much hassle is cut the chord about 3/4 of the way to the USB connector hopefully the broken wire is further up. then cut open the wire to the connector and use either a multi meter or a battery and light to tell you what pin is what colour wire. then with a fresh USB cable find the pin and coloured wires again and use that to to re wire each wire 1 at a time
