usb mouse microprocessor

I had a need to left and right click the mouse remotely, so I used a cheap usb mouse and added my switches to it. functions perfect.... but looks bad. I was wondering if there is a source to purchase a microprocessor configured as a generic usb nouse. I don't need any of the other mouse functions/hardware. I've got to make a few more of these remote switches for friends, and I didn't want to use another mouse....
Do I even need a microprocessor? I defere to you guys

Try V-USB. It worked fine when I made a USB HID (just a half-keyboard acting as a controller), but if you have no experience with microcontrollers then don't bother trying this--It's painful to get started with.
