Usb AC: Safe or Deadly?

Give it up. Even at very low power levels, 110/220 Vac is lethal. Also, assuming you want to use this somewhere other than on a workbench, you will have to put the electronics in some kind of enclosure with connectors for external cords. An enclosure that is safe will cost more than the modules. Also, two converter modules in series is very inefficient. Only about 50% of the battery power will be available at the AC output.

Which load do you want to power?

USB is totally inadequate for most purposes where a 110 V load is involved. Even if your power bank(s) were able to deliver 1 A at 5 V, this is just 5 W. Stepping this up to 110 V will at best have an efficiency of 80 % (probably much less), so only <=4 W are available on the 110 V side.
Use a 12 V source (e.g. car battery) and get a commercial inverter. With 12 V and e.g. 10 A, you get 120 W input to the inverter, that is approx. 96 W output power.
