"multiculturalism", then the citizens will either have to fend for
themselves - or elect a new government that *will* protect them.

Except for one nagging issue; it should protect natural (living, breathing,
biological) citizens before the "Corporate" (a polite legal fiction)
"citizens". Witness the bizarre protections granted to early cotton mills
(including part of the impetus for the civil war), native shipbuilding
(Vanderbilt fortunes), early steel making (US steel, Carnegie and others),
railroads (many), native chemical processing (Dow, DuPont, Monsanto, Allied
Chemical and others), oil companies and GM, United Fruit Company, Hershey,
