UM3482 Melody IC

Hey guys, recently I bought this IC and it seems not to be UM3482. I constructed the circuit based on the datasheet and for my old UM3482 with broken legs, it will produce sound.

But I bought this

which in terms do not giv me any effects in the same circuit. Is it the same IC or ?

According to http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheets_pdf/U/M/3/4/UM3482A.shtml
the UM3481 ... 3483 are all melody ICs. This (and other) source shows only one datasheet, for these components.

Try shorting the pins 13,14,15 (osc pins) without power of course. Mine circuit I short these pins every time I change the values of resistor and caps in those pins.
