TrippLite 1000 FC inverter

Does anyone know what the surge capacity of this TrippLite 1000FC unit
is? I have been to the TrippLite web site but the only information that
they have is on current production models. My unit has a massive
transformer and was built around 1984. It works great; but, I hate to
burn it up just to find out its capacity.

Most will not with stand more than a 1/3 more than rated. That should keep
ya safe
