I am a semi truck driver. I have a 1500 Watt inverter that pulls <110 amps with my load that I used in my previous truck. The company I now drive for will not allow us to use any direct connect (to battery) inverters. They do however, allow us to have inverters that plug into the 12 volt cigar lighters and power taps. Here is my project...
I would like to take 3 of the 30 amp taps/sockets and 1 20 amp socket and feed them to the inverter for a 110 amp total, thereby allowing my larger inverter to be powered. At least, that was my thought. Gicen the wiring per socket will be of various lengths, I am unsure whether each fuse would pass the proper amperage or if they would blow, one by one.
1) Is this possible
2) If so, any advice on necessary circuits would be useful
