Transistor Power Dissipation

When i observe the datasheets of some of the transistors, i only see the dissipation at the collector mentioned, but there will be some dissipation at the base of the transistor as well? Why it is not mentioned? That may be because it is very low, but when i do some calculations for transistors do i need to calculate for the base power dissipation as well.

The power dissipation for the whole device is called the collector dissipation. No calculation for the base dissipation is necessary.
