Transformer replacement !

I have a guitar amp 230 volt . I would like to exchange the power transformer for a 120 volt . What is the best way to do this ?

You want the same secondary output voltage(s) and capacity (voltamp rating) as the original 230v.

Post a picture of its specs.

Did you check to see that on the off chance the primary may be dual winding, 120/240 ?

Antek makes and sells a nice line of Toroidal, you need to know the secondaries required and the approx Va size.

Hello,

As others said, post some pictures of the primairy and secondairy side.
If there are extra connections on the primairy side, it could be the transformer connections can be changed for 120 V.
