Toshiba TV Pink Screen problem CN35D90

Hello all,
Having a problem with my Toshiba TV going pink. Either I have to hit the set or wait and eventually goes to normal viewing. Any suggestions on resolution? Not sure if there is an cost effective way to fix or just trash the set?

You have an impending failure of the CCFL or the inverter.

this is a easy fix . the lvds cable is dirty or not inserted correctly . remove from both sides and clean . reseat the lvds cable which should fix the set , if it does not . remove the connector cables from the t-con board to the sub assy ,clean and reseat. one of these will fix the set.
