Toshiba 2173DB sound probs

I recently leaned on my tv remote, while adjusting sound at the set, an
ever since then I have no sound from my tv, I have tried re-tuning, an
my pictures are perfect, but I still have no sound. When this happened
there was a two digit number that was moving in the top hand corner o
the screen, so I think I have accidently put it into some kind o
service mode.
Any help would be much appreciated

Go through the menus of your set, and check to see if you muted it. Also,
look in the menus in case you put the set in to the SAP mode. If so, it has
to be put back to the main mode (whatever terminology they use for your
model).
