TEAC LCHD2040 default reset

I have recovered a TEAC LCHD2040 TV by replacing the caps in the power supply however the set will not detect DTV channel two and variants. Autotune scans from 64Mhz to beyond 600Mhz smoothly. I suspect they have been locked out. I would like to reset the software to factory defaults but cannot find out how. I have the instruction manual [on the net through AWA] but no mention of factory default software. I do not have a remote. I would appreciate any help.

The set is Flat Screen - Analogue ONLY

Seems others have the same dilema as there were no comments posted.
I widened my search and found a YouTube video describing the set: nothing in the operating manual, nothing on the web but one pearl in this video: The set is ANALOGUE only. The only flat screen I have seen without digital demodulation.
Problem solved.
