Sony TV KV24FV12, HR 8774 Flyback Replacement Conflict

Hi,

I have a Sony TV KV24FV12 ch BA5 11/2000 with a bad
FBT. A number on the FTB is 8-598-850-00. I found an
HR replacement, number HR 8774. I ordered it because
it is half the price of a Sony replacement ($73.**). However, when
I received it, everything matches with regards to pins configuration,
but there is no ABL pin (not broken) under the focus/screen control block!

Did you use a HR 8774 with a missing ABL pin to replace a
Sony FBT part # 145333611?

On many TVs, that pin is grounded. If your chassis has that pin grounded, the
fly may work normally as the focus\screen assy on the HR may be grouned
internally to one of the ground pins.
