Sony RM-AV3000 LCD cracked

I'm trying to find a replacement LCD screen for my RM-AV3000. Sony
will replace the remote for about 80 USD. I'd like to just replace the
screen myself so I can save the trouble of reprograming the remote.
I've search and found that for about 100 USD I can get a RM-AV4000,
and if I have to reporgram I might as well spend the extra 20 bucks
and get a better remote. can any one help me find the part number and
place to buy a replacement LCD screen.

Parts and service for the remotes are not normaly supported. The
remote is replaced as a complete unit. The cost of servicing a remote,
and the parts would easily come out to more than the remote is
worth!

You have to remember that for stocking and distribution of spare parts
there are costs that have to be included in to the price of the
parts.
