Woo-Woo Small Generator Homemade, Created In Educational Purpose Lighting E 27 230 V Led Bulb

Things I used to create the generator in this movie:

3V Dc motor + plastic stalk ( inside “2 function toy” cars both parts; plastic stalk is used to fix the case of the toy car – the screw entrance in the plastic stalk)

7w AC led light bulb+ E 27 socket lead+ wires

3,7 v - 600 mah Li-Po battery ( mini drones)

Neodymium magnet sphere diameter 12.7 mm + neodymium magnet screw thread (you need just the metallic case – remove the neodymium magnet from inside)

Copper coil (inside microwave oven turntable motor)

Construction kit (toys) plastic and metal–used for the coil and the 3v dc motor holder

Power switch.

Important observations regarding simple generator:

1. the angle between the coil and the rotating sphere it is a must otherwise the output voltage will be low

2. The position of the neodymium sphere magnet on the metallic case is a must otherwise the output voltage it will be low (“metal socket”) N-S – I establish the position with a small iron screw.

3. I used nonmagnetic materials for the coil holder area otherwise the magnetic components will influence, in the bad way, the rotation of the sphere (like a magnetic brake+ the attraction force )

.

Notice: using different types of DC motors, copper coils, batteries, neodymium magnets we obtained different voltages

we wish to improve the small generator educational purpose waiting for ideas

As LittleGhostman has tried to explain on your other post here:
http://www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/project-small-generator-3.150560/
, just because you are using a 7W LED, does not mean that you are generating 7W of power to it.

Since input voltage is 3.7V and loaded current is 0.48A, this equates to 3.7x.48 = 1.8 Watts (approx)

Your motor / generator efficiency is probably very low - let's be generous and guess at 10%, then the power to your LED might be something like 0.2 Watts.

For assessing generator performance Volts on their own do not matter. Amps on their own do not matter. It is Power (Watts) that matter. I do not think that you have successfully measured output power, which makes any results you find unscientific and conclusions dubious.

after our calculation (it is just our opinion, we are not insisting on our numbers) we have 69 % in comparation with the conection At 230 V line
PS: I didn't present any conclusions I wish the people who will replicate it to present them.
thx for your participation
LittleGhostman wish is to help us and share us his opinion.

Show your calculations so that we can tell you where you went wrong. Your calculations might well be correct, but the assumptions that you base the calculations on are probably wildly out.

No way is your generator producing 69% of 7W with a 2 Watt input (if that is what you are saying).

that why we are insisting to replicate it, because our numbers can be completly wrong but keeping also the educational project purpose.
PS: please remove the link from your recent post

a lot of people on this forum with advanced knowledges, can replicate it and tell us exactly what is hapening and give us their numbers.

IT is for free time it is optional. In this way we can discover together how to construct and improve a small layout of a generator homemade, like a commercial toy kit
the amps is very low - are looking to improve it, with the help of all involved
ideas: to improve untill now: use other shapes of neodymyum magnet, use a thiker coil to increase amps - thx for this Little Ghostman
69 % percent refering at the" luminous flux", not to the amps

ok. it wasn't in my intention to pretend.

the next step in this project is to light up a 11 W Hg bulb - which is flashes with low intensity of light, conected at "small generator 2" in the actual stage. (low amps - someone told us is possible to flash because it has a small capacitor in its internal power supply)

Are you trying to imply that the output power is greater than the input power?

Or something else?

it is not a perpetuum mobile never said that.
after aprox 1h 20 min "small generator 2" is out of batery 3,7 V cc 600 mAh cc - if the batery is new and is charged 100 % - so it is not "efficient as a generator" - educational purpose
someone said is more a kind of a mechanical inverter.

we have manage to list all our movies in a single place (REMOVED), in the future we will increase the numbers of magnetic poles to obtaine the same results at low rpms (we will eliminate the noise and the vibrations) - all spheres used in the movies are 2 poles spheres. We are looking forward for aplications of the magnetic flux generated by a spinning sphere.

And we look forward to any actual measurements to show why such an approach has any benefits over traditional approaches.

The light bulbs are not bright enough, low power is going to them.
Whatever is out of balance, vibrating and making all that noise is probably reducing the efficiency.
If my mini drone made that much noise then it would not have enough power to fly.

Your generator produces a frequency much higher than your meter is designed to measure so the battery current is actually much higher than your measurement.

I do know a profesionist work with his own measures (so replicate it at small scale), if you are interested about this, the reason I keep my results private it is simple I do not wish to transform this in to a show television that why I keep all the details about me private.....
Ps: untill now all the "specialists" were wrong they told me it is inductive coupling, wrong, they have told me I will not be able to light normal bulbs (just led bulbs because the led bulbs use Dc power ) they were wrong. From my point of view it is something simple. So I kindly request to the "specialists" to stay out of this and let us " the people without knowledges" to discuss.

thx st
