Thanks not going to use 555 but rather use the ujt type circuit. Question is if I can find the parts at my local electronics shop as they dont always keep the parts with certain codes. But I will Google some more in ujt circuits.Various 555 timer versions will run at those voltages. (google 555 led flasher?)

Yes I wish I could get them but I am 100's of km away from my nearest electronics shop. That's why I struggling with this type of circuits.Hello,
