With the Internet there is no such thing as privacy or a
secret .Manuals will eventually get out.
even with the manuals and software out there it still does no good
with out the simplex security dongle key.
I recently did a Simplex install for an electrical contractor friend
and found the equipment very well built the employee Dave who came on
site and programmed everything excellent . The big problem was
dealing with the local corporate office
and getting the product on site. and of course the fact your equipment
was 4 times what i pay over the counter for comparable stuff.
I personally never spec or use proprietary equipment. I see it as
uncompetitive and monopolistic. I stand on quality of my work and
service to keep customers not a name which is locked in and holds a
customer hostage.

Yer right it is now, but it wasn't this morning....I wonder if the ADT
