Simple LED circuit for complete noob

Hi, I'm in need of a very simple (seemingly) circuit. I want to shut one LED off when another is lit. That's it. It 5v stuff - I want to shut the power LED off on a computer while the HDD LED is active.

I really wish I had a better understanding of such a simple concept - that's where you guys come in.
