Hello guys I am new to this forum, at another forum I foundout that the amp circuit I wanted to build was not going to work. Basically it uses an op amp at the input but the op amp only supplies 5ma of current, and it uses output transistors tip41/tip42s with an hFE of about 22 so the current is too little. I need to be able to source 100ma for the output transistors otherwise I am limited to only about 90mWrms. I simplly want to use bc547 transistor(s) I have already to add a driver stage inbetween the op amp and the output transistors, is this possible, and should I use a common collector?
Here is the circuit: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_6/chpt_6/10.html
Thanks..
