Anyone know where I can purchase a Sharp LQ9D11 Flat Panel LCD Display (9")?
(Preferably Australia)

Anyone know where I can purchase a Sharp LQ9D11 Flat Panel LCD Display (9")?

If it's really an 8.4" then I am guessing it came out of a laptop, and
60% likely a ThinkPad. If so, you'll have better luck looking up the
FRU# for the part in the relevant Hardware Maintenance Manual, rather
than using the OEM's part number.

My monitor repair man sourced 2x from USA AUD$975.00 plus freight which he
has ordered. They do not manufacture these anymore.
It came out of a Cincinnati Milacron Plastics Blowmoulding Machine. The OEM
do not sell it as a separate item, you have to by the whole keypad assy.,
video driver card and LCD display as one and they still have not got back to
me.

Ah! Interestingly, the company that does our steel-bending had the same
problem a while ago. Different piece of equiment, same issue - dead
backlight. We hacked together a cable for a different, but nominally
compatible LCD.
