Sir itai shi. . . . . . .

Looks like the electrical specifications are being the same for the newly found replacement unit.
That original unit just has a surround housing and some dead space around it.
Just about ALL other units look like the newly referenced unit . . .excepting the Siemens 3RT series which use a housing about about half the thickness of your original unit.

If no physical -visual-electrical signs of failure why are you having it in suspect ?

Dear 73's de Edd,

Yes that is definitely a defective Varistor.
The explosion black marks are evident in the last 2 photos.

That Varistor is a so called "fireproof" type.
The outer casing minimized the damage to the surrounding components and indeed minimized the fire hazard due to the exploded Varistor.
What I would do is take it out of the board ,open it very carefully clean the explosion residue well ,
and replace the inside Varistor with the blue one and re-assemble it back on the board.

sound a good idea ,
i hope the varistor can be taken out of the outer casing.
will try it in the next two days, and update,
thanks all for the really big help !!

Dear Dorke,
you are a genius !!

the black varistor indeed was a housing box for the original varistor,
the original one is look same as the replacement.
i guess the is no polarity for this part , because i dont see any sign for a polarity (e.g. +/-)
faultyVar.JPG
i opened the black housing box,
took out the faulty varistor,
put a new one inside the black housing box,
solder the fixed one to the circuit,
put a new fuse,

and today im gonna go back, up my roof to put the circuit back in.
and prey that no more parts got faulty on this circuit board.

i;ll will update,
thanks .
itai.

final status:

the air condition work perfect for almost half an hour :)

(the symptom before the error was that the air condition was shutdown himself after 10 seconds and had a green light flashing fast)

dorke, 73's de edd and Ian,
well done everybody !!!
i really owe you big time !!!!
:D
