Regen Radio Ideas Needed

I'm buying a one tube regen from Dave Schmarder. I don't get to build
it, but I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, I couldn't resist.

I'm planning to use egular Hi-Fi headphones with the set, would a 1k-8
ohm audio transfomrer work?

Also how would I wire the audio output up so the mono sound comes
through both sides of the headphones?

Just keep in mind that you may be disappointed at the audio level from
this. Part of the reason for this is the fact that most modern
headphones are designed for good fidelity over high sensitivity. If
lack of volume turns out to be a problem, just add an audio stage
(another #30 would do nicely).

Search for Doerle Regen, that was a popular 2-tube regen typically
using #30 tubes. Here's one diagram I found:

Hi Michael

Thanks for the lovely explanation - well for a beginning project i was
so excited I could hear ATC in my local area - I am in the process of
building another one for my brother so he too can listen to ATC.

With the super-regen - as the voltage drops from the source, will the
resonant frequency begin to shift?

Say if it goes from 10 to 8 volts. I am using a MPF102.
