Reading Datasheets

I am a beginner. I find it very difficult in reading the datasheets for a particular IC.
I find it confusing as there are a lot of factors that have to be considered and there are lots of pages in the datasheet.

Can someone help me on what I should do to make it easier for me to read the datasheets?
Please help

Point is at the datasheet in question and tell us what you want to do with the chip.

Ok. The most important things are the absolute maximum ratings. Make sure you never exceed these.

Then, knowing what the most important sources are for your application, ensure they are acceptable and read the fine print (graphs and tables) to make sure there are no gotchas. Often you will find reference design information which can be helpful if you don't know how to use the device.

If you're a beginner then the first page will probably have most of the stuff you can understand and use on it.
