Press-n-Peel

Fernando

I am using the Press-n-Peel blue for me to do my PCB, and I appreciate a
lot, however I would like to know if there is something new in doing PCB.
TIA

Brings to mind... any recommendations for PURCHASED etch tank setup?
I'm not interested in DIY... no time :-(

I use PnP Blue because I haven't found anything better.

There, at least part of my reply is on topic...

Now, what are you doing etching your own boards if time is so precious?
I would think that a retired big-time Silicon Valley innovator such as yourself
could afford to send your gerbers out to a fast-turn board house. Or are you
requiring platinum clad saphire substrates now? <-- obligatory grin

I'm not retired... probably at my busiest time ever. Filthy rich, but
still resent blowing money on a one-off while I firm up a (G-job)
design ;-)

I bought a Stika vinyl cutter for my wife's projects. Thought I'd try
it as a PCB resist method, just for fun-sies ;-)

You might try one of the etchers here
(http://www.web-tronics.com/printed-circuit-board-supplies.html) for
starters, Jim. I bought one a couple years ago and it still works very
well. Yeah, I could have put it all together from pieces, but like you, I
didn't have the time to spare at the time....

Cheers!!!

I just use a plastic food container inside a larger one half filled with hot
water. Wearing rubber gloves I agitate the etchant continuously. It takes
about five minutes with fresh FeCl3.
