Power Supply

I have a power supply when I turn the power on the small transformer make a noise sound from it for about 5 second and there are no pwer from the secondary side on the primary side there is a 2Sk3556 mosfet I can not check this when there is power on I try to with my Multimeter and there was smoke coming from the primary side which this mosfet go to the bridge rectifier it look like the transformer was smoke and smell from it could this be the fault I have check all other parts on the power supply if this transformer is faulty I can not replace it because it a 2 in 1 VCR and DVD Player
The fuse on the power supply is not Blowing

Take a look in the electronics mortuary, if you do repair the player keep a close eye on it, for safety sake.

I would replace the whole power board, and still keep a close eye on it, as you dont know what started the failure.

PS, User repair of high frequency windings on these small units requires extreme care insulation and accuracy.
