Good day all.
I am repairing a power supply and noticed the culprit is the Varistor. I removed the varistor and the equipment starts working. I couldn't get the exact varistor from the market and wondering what to do or should I leave the power supply without the varistor since it's working?

the varistor is for voltage surge protection coming in the mains line ...
yes as you have found removing the blown one gets the PSU working .... it just means it not longer has any protection
