position sensor turning on leds

I'm brand new here to start with and hope I'm posting in the correct area. So here's the deal, I'm doing a project for my truck that's going to require position sensors to monitor the suspension. I found sensors from Honeywell that have an output voltage of 0.5-4.5Vdc through the range of motion. What I would like to do is have these sensor turn on LED's at certain points/voltage/degrees. Is that possible? How do I go about that? Thanks in advance!!

I found a thread on another forum here that describes a National Instruments or Texas Instruments LM3914 LED display driver that will do exactly what you want. Just add an LED bar readout for the display.
