Paradox Esprit Alarm System (Canadian) Model 626

They don't *limit* the manuals to dealers (such as me). They limit their
*support* to dealers. It is my job as a Paradox dealer to support end users
who want to install or service their own Paradox systems. Doing so
necessarily includes sharing documents with those who need them.

And just where are you going to find and INSTALLATION MANUAL for the
626 Keypad?

Nowhere. Even the user manual for the 626 doesn't exist on the Paradox
website.

It does exist but it's pretty much a 2 page wiring diagram, they put it out
as a combo doc which also included a 616, 636 and 646.

Why someone would want it is beyond me but I do have it

For clarity, I'm not Jim.


I'm a Paradox dealer. I checked online and didn't see the manual on their
website www.paradox.ca. Unless I missed something it's just not there. If
you don't find it online first, call me tomorrow and I'll ask my rep to send
you the manual.

You're correct that most manufacturers won't give direct support to
consumers but protecting dealers is only one of the reasons. Another is
that they don't have enough staff to handle questions from thousands of
consumers.


Again, if no one else helps you out first, give me a call on Weds and I'll
try.

Hey guys, I'm just an ordinary ER doc in NZ hoping to be able to program
the thing!

I'm not a dealer - that you are right on, but I do know a thing or two
about hexadecimal. I think your right about my error is saying the keypad
is what is programmed. Presumably I need to find the actual model number
of the alarm system. Will investigate....

Programming Guide sent by a kind soul. Hopefully it will guide me. If
anybody else needs it, just whistle.
