Wanted: Oscilloscope help

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a oscilloscope, my budget is not great. But I will be using it for the following experiments.
1. Monitoring SPI, RS232,I2C signals using PIC microcontroller
2. Analogue elevtronics, filter design and simple circuits like waveform generation
3. Basic digital electronics Design, counters and shift register.

I am looking at a DSO, has anyone used Rigoletto or Ginstek? Do they have serial communication functionality?
I am not sure what is meant by a MSO? Can someone help?

For 1 and 3 you actually need a logic analyzer with protocol interpretation.
The speed of has to be determined by tour application speeds.

A scope is needed for 2 ,it's parameters should be determined by your bandwidth and frequencies.
2 or 4 channels? 4 is better but more expansive, though mostly 2 will do,again depends on what you do.

An MSO is a mix between an Oscilloscope and logic analyzer.

"Rigoletto or Ginstek" ??? is this a new opera or Raga by Raj?;)

Must be" Rigol or Instek" ,
so many models and prices.

Sorry, it was meant to say Rigol and Instek.
Predictive text on the smartphone is pretty poor.
I thought I can buy a DSO and then there is a firmware upgrade to allow for SPai, I2C etc

I'm a bit confused. Do I need a DSO with logic analyser functionality. My PIC microcontroller work will revolve around a 4 MHz click, any analogue electronics will be around 50-100KHz.
With that in mind please could you advise on following parameters for a scope,
Bandwidth, sampling rate, would a 50MHz scope be ok for this? etc
I would appreciate any help.
Best regards,
Raj
