Those data image posts are great, you are on the right track

I could see power supply current on them and on several also the output current capabilities
Keep in mind note all chips can source output current, some sink current instead .... all depends on the type of chip and the datasheets will again give that info
Now to the bit you wrote that I quoted above ....
input pins, normally don't "require" a given current as such ( sorta yes and no)

its more about what the maximum input current the input can tolerate before you kill the input/chip
does that make sense ?
if not someone else may be able to elaborate on that for you
