Online PIC Course Legal question

Hello Clever people.

I'm in the process of creating an online PIC course for school level. I've mailed Microchip several times about the legal aspect of using MPLAB to do a live video on the coding.
They did not answer me yet.
Would anybody know if this would be a problem? I dnt want to get problems later on.

Regards
Marinus

You would think Microchip would be only too pleased for you to promote their products. Perhaps they're doing their sums to work out how much they are going to pay you? :D

I've seen a lot of videos, paid for and free, using MPLAB and MPLABX, Microchip give them away for free, for use commercially and non-commercially, it's based on Netbeans Platform (MPLABX), and also has to comply with Netbeans' EULA, which I believe permits it's use for training for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

On a side note, you sound South African, but your country code says Korea.
